Independent owner’s representative
Helping owners build better
We represent family offices, private owners and hotel owners on property that matters to them, from the first decision through to the years of operation that follow.
“For seventeen years, Rob was integral to some of the projects closest to my heart, including Son Bunyola, Kasbah Tamadot, and rebuilding Necker Island after a hurricane. He is professional, unflappable and a pleasure to work with – I can’t recommend him highly enough.”
Sir Richard Branson, Founder, Virgin Group
One voice for the owner.
The Aquadro Office represents owners whose property matters to them for the long term. We are appointed by the owner and act only in the owner’s interest, independent of the architect, project manager, contractor and everyone else delivering the work. We don’t replace them. We make sure their work adds up to clear decisions, so the building performs, lasts, and is worth having built.
“Rob held together a complex, multi-country build for Virgin’s African lodges – remote sites, live operations, and teams spread across three countries. He is the owner’s representative you want when the work is hard and the location is difficult.”Guy McGregor, Managing Director, Luxury Frontiers
When owners bring us in
- Before there is a projectThe biggest choices are made before a team is appointed. We help settle what is wanted, what it should cost and who should build it.
- When the advice doesn’t add upEvery adviser is right about their own part. We turn it into one recommendation.
- When a project has driftedA brief that keeps moving, a budget under strain, a team pulling in different directions. We reset it and keep it on course.
- After the buildOperations, lifetime cost and the wider portfolio sit outside most appointments. We keep them in view long after handover.
